Production Worker - Entry Level Operator

Job Summary:
CarlisleConstruction Materials, a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premiumbuilding products and related technology has an immediate opening forProduction Workers - Entry Level Operators, at its Smithfield, PA location.
Ability to work anyone of 3 shifts is required, preference will be discussedduring phone interview:
1st - 7:00am - 3:30 pm; 2nd - 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm; and 3rd ? 11:00pm ? 7:30 am
Primary JobResponsibilities:
Production Workersperform a variety of tasks to maintain the proper flow of materials throughoutour plant and production process.
Follow production schedules, job instructions, quality standards, specifications and procedures
Detect and/or correct and report faulty operations or defective materials
Ensure safe equipment operation and personal safety compliance
Use saws, pallet jacks, hand tools, bar code equipment and other production equipment
Other production responsibilities as needed and assigned
Education: High School diploma or GED required
Must be 18 years of age or older
Ability to follow instructions and read production orders
Experience with computers including various manufacturing programs
Able to work fast and efficient and willing to work long hours during busy season
Understanding of basic math, reading, and writing skills
Ability to effectively communicate
Physical Demands:
For this position, it is required to be able to lift up to 65 pounds
There is a repetitive use of hands required with simple grasping and pushing and pulling
Temperature changes throughout the year (hot in summer months, cold in winter months)
In addition this position requires the following abilities: standing, walking, lifting, reaching above shoulders, bending, and twisting.
Competitive pay starting at $13.00 an hour with a $0.50/hour raise after 6 months, and another increase to full production rate at 1 year.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
